  • Limited coverage. While Mercury offers low and competitive pricing, they also cut out many of the extra services people like paying for. It’s what some would describe as a “meat-and-potatoes auto insurer.” If you’re looking for more diverse coverage with insurance providers, Mercury may not be the right choice for you.

Mercury is best for mature drivers with good records.

We didn’t find anything about accident forgiveness which means you will probably be penalized with higher rates after an accident. A lot of other companies are more forgiving, so we suggest you go with a Mercury policy if you have a good record and can qualify for some of their discounts.
