Teen drivers are a unique group to insurance companies because they statistically get into more accidents than any other demographic. If you’re looking for affordable car insurance as a teen driver, you’ll want to go with a company that has plans tailored to you. We analyzed rates from both 18 year old men and women, and found that men will pay roughly 2% more. The Hartford is the most affordable and is about $300 cheaper than MGA Insurance–the second cheapest.
